September sees the final Christian Aid ‘Cut the Carbon’ event for Affinity Events. This however isn’t the only event I managed this weekend – I also started the rig for a conference – luckily they were both in Cardiff.

My rig at Cardiff City Hall meant that I had to leave the management of my final Christian Aid event in the capable hands of Alan and Ben from Affinity, but I couldn’t help getting to Cardiff early to make sure everything went to plan.

With a site for 3,000 this event was slightly easier as the march took a route along the Celtic Way, through Bute Park which was in great contrast to the more industrial route taken through Birmingham

Again, the entire event was delivered in less than 12 hours – from the start of the build to the last person leaving site.
