It isn’t often that I’m able to work on two events on the same day, but as the final Christian Aid event takes place in Cardiff, I have been less than half a mile away at Cardiff City Hall setting up for a four day conference for Cardiff University on behalf of Affinity Events.

I’ve worked on this project for over two years, providing full pre-event & production management, working with the client, venue and technical contractors to specify and manage all equipment, running of the event and venue health & safety. I’ve also taken responsibility for the collation and management of over 200 abstracts, delegate registration and management, as well as speaker management and booking and logistics of travel and accommodation.

As part of the event, I also floor managed a formal dinner at Cardiff Museum, which saw all 400 delegates seated for performances by a choir as well as dinner.
