Since mid 2007 I’ve been working with Affinity Events on the planning for the two part KCM European Conferences. The first stage was attended by 2,800 delegates and was held at the Bournemouth International Centre on the south Coast.

My responsibilities included dealing with all requests from the client, managing their requirements, dealing with delegate requests and ensuring that everything required at the venue was in place. I also dealt with all venue briefings, health and safety and was involved with the logistics for the VIP speakers.

All equipment from the event was then packed into two trucks and everything for the conference was shipped to Switzerland for leg two of the event.
