Greenbelt 2007
I’ve worked at Greenbelt in various roles for almost ten years, so it was nice to be asked this year if I wanted to step up my role to Site Production Manager, working with E&MS, the company who manage the site contract.
So this year, Greenbelt for me was a three week event, starting with a two week build of the site infrastructure, power, venues and campsite. I helped manage a site crew of about 15, and worked with all of the main contractors to ensure that the site was ready for the arrival of the client.

The event plays host to a number of stages (both indoor and out) and is attended by up to 22,500 people. My teams looked after the laying out of the campsite, placement of equipment and ensuring that everyone ended up with everything they needed.
