Working with Microsoft’s event agency BBL Events, I’ve recently completed a five week roadshow tour of the UK.

The Technical Roadshow has been running for several years and this time took in Nottingham, Glasgow, Bristol, Harrogate and London.  Each of the two day conferences accommodated approximately 300 people, with my responsibilities including all venue, logistics, production and speaker management.

Each year Microsoft aim to reach an audience of around 3,000 people during the tour and this year was no exception. I was also responsible for managing all onsite staff, specifying and booking all technical equipment and crew, and looking after travel and accommodation for the speakers and crew.
